Will I be
able to select which features I want to use ?
SpyDetect has a variety of options which you can use
to modify the operation of the program in order to specifically
target areas of security.
What
are the system requirements?
SpyDetect
runs on Windows® 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, and XP. SpyDetect is
not available for the Macintosh. The file size is 300 K and
will take about 3 minutes to download on a dial-up connection.

Features
Will SpyDetect work
with virus protection software?
SpyDetect protects against snoopware, programs surreptitiously loaded
on your computer to allow someone to spy on you. Viruses are small
programs that arrive through email or by loading infected media
on your computer. It is important to protect yourself against computer
viruses. Antivirus software won't stop snoopware. SpyDetect will
compliment your antivirus software by protecting you against snoopware.
Does
SpyDetect work with firewall software?
A
firewall (hardware or software) prevents others from probing your
computer across the Internet. Snoopware is software that runs on
your computer, and though some snoopware programs send information
across the Internet, a firewall won't stop them. To stop snoopware,
you need SpyDetect. It will not conflict with your firewall. If
you have an "always on" connection to the Internet, a
firewall and SpyDetect will ensure that you aren't always monitored.
Can
I install it on more than one computer?
Each
purchase of SpyDetect gives you the license to install it on one
computer. For additional licenses, please purchase additional copies
of SpyDetect.

Security
Will anyone know that I have SpyDetect on
my computer?
SpyDetect installs into your Start Menu, and though it
can be removed from there, we recommend that you leave it in your
Start Menu as a deterrent to anyone who might consider installing
snoopware on your computer.
